Geocaching Club

Welcome! Geocaching is an outdoor activity of hiding and seeking hidden treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache. In this activity students will learn to use a GPS device and then use the GPS device along with clues to locate a hidden geocache. Students will have the opportunity to create and hide their own geocache for others to find.
